This time of year, October, is the end of the dry season. All the trees are rather bare, but as soon as the rain starts they will burst with leaves.
Rows of rondavels - you do not feel enclosed as they are all built along the hillside.
Outside the fences are the big animals, but inside there are plenty of creatures.
This animal appears to be on our side of the fence !
