24 Oct - Shimuweni to Olifants, one

Today is the day for the rescheduled morning walk, so up early before the sun.
C, AP and AR went off with two rangers just as the sun was rising.
Parked the ute/bakkie and started walking along animal tracks towards a stream.
AP - ...... about these spiders
They are communal spiders, all living in a single- rather messy- nest.  Each nest contains spiders of a single generation, as when the offspring hatch and the season gets tough, they eat the older generation!
These are what are left over once the dung beetle young have hatched.
Magic self-standing gun!
